A new warning feature has been added to Java's applet behavior (please refer to the image below). When an unsigned applet opens a new window, outside of the browser, a yellow border appears around the applet along with a triangular warning sign appearing on the top right corner of the applet. This is a new feature as of Java 6u10. It provides users a warning that a pop-up window has been activated. The yellow border and warning sign will go away once the user move the cursor out of the applet window area.
