McAfee VirusScan takes the worry and hassle out of essential computer protection for everyone — experts to novices, shielding PCs from viruses, spyware. McAfee SiteAdvisor is an online safety guide that warns users about risky web sites before they visit.
During the installation of Java, users are presented with an option of Installing the Virus Scan and the Site Advisor or just the Site Advisor. Users can remove the check in the checkbox, if they do not wish to install McAfee software.
