This article applies to:
  • Platform(s): Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows XP, Windows 10

SYMPTOMS

When I try to run Minecraft, a Java crash occurs and leaves a hs_log_pid log file on the desktop.

The hs_log_pid log file will contain a line that begins with org.lwjgl.opengl. This indicates that an error has occurred due to incompatibility between video card driver and the Lightweight Java Game Library (LWJGL).

CAUSE
